What limits does the free plan have?

The free plan is meant to help you try the core reading experience. It currently includes limited quotas for inline translation, subtitles, and link preview.

Word definitions, full-page translation, multiple AI models, and custom prompts still require a paid membership. If you already read English docs, papers, or video frequently, you will probably hit those limits fairly quickly.

What is the difference between Yearly and Lifetime?

They include the same member features: unlimited inline and paragraph translation, unlimited full-page translation, HD bilingual subtitles, model switching, and custom prompts.

The only real difference is billing. Yearly renews every year. Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no renewal.

Can I buy online right now?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Paid plans are not currently available through self-serve checkout, so the pricing page buttons do not open a payment flow.

If you want to activate a paid plan, contact support first to get the current license process, then complete activation in the extension.

Question 4

How do I activate a membership?

Accepted Answer

After you receive a license, open License Management in the extension and enter your email address and license key.

If you run into issues with activation status, device limits, or the license key itself, contact support directly. That is usually the fastest path.

How many devices can I use?

Paid plans currently support up to 3 activated devices.

If you replace a computer, reinstall your browser, or need to clear an activation record, contact support so it does not interrupt your normal use.

Which plan should I choose?

If you only look up words occasionally and do not read foreign-language content very often, the free plan is enough to get started.

Choose Yearly if you want the full feature set but are still deciding whether Poplingo fits your long-term workflow. Choose Lifetime if you already know you will keep using it.
